The equestrian online community is a varied and diverse bunch. The categories for the 2014 ESMAs reflects this with a range to suit everyone, regardless of discipline or location. Due to high demand his year sees the introduction of a new category for Creative Professionals specialising in the equestrian industry, such as event organisers, photographers and marketers. Three new regional categories have been introduced which reflect the wide range of social media use highlighted in the 2012 ESMAs, these are; Australia and New Zealand, the Benelux and Scandinavia.
It will be up to the public to submit their favourites when the nominations stage opens, in the following categories:
(Open Twitter accounts only)
(Open to charities and campaigns designed to raise awareness of worthwhile causes and promote horse welfare)
The Judges' Choice winner will receive a free place on a Hippikos training Programme (Intensive Training in Dressage or Jumping, or Both). The training week includes three lessons a day on advanced horses (dressage to Grand Prix and jumping to 1.45m), all accommodation, meals and drinks.
(Feed, bedding, equipment and information for the horse)
(Clothing, protective gear and equipment for the rider)
(Open to online, brick and mortar or mobile stores offering a variety of brands)
(For those who have joined the social media world since the previous ESMAs)
(Can be one blogger or a group of bloggers using a single platform)
(Creative professionals within the equestrian industry e.g. journalists, photographers, artists, designers etc.)
The category winner will receive a free portfolio on the Equestrian Creative Network for a year.
