Haylie Martin
Haylie grew up in Taumarunui, a small country town in the central North Island of New Zealand and started out riding a Shetland pony before heading down the dressage path.
Successfully representing NZ as a young rider, Haylie went on to spend time training in America before returning to New Zealand to study a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Equine and Agribusiness.
Landing a job as Marketing Executive at New Zealand Bloodstock, after six and a half years there she made the move to Sydney in 2010 to work on with the online businesses owned by another thoroughbred auction house, Inglis. Haylie has continued her involvement with horses through teaching, taking on young horses and re-schooling others for sale. Haylie has now landed her dream role as Marketing Manager for one of Australia’s leading racehorse trainers in Chris Waller and combines this with offering marketing and PR support to busy riders.
